Here are the top 10 cities for literacy.. Overall, the top 10 most literate (and wired) cities included: 1—Minneapolis, Minn. 2—Seattle, Wash. 3—St. Paul, Minn. 4—Denver, Colo. 5—Washington, D.C. 6—St. Louis, Mo. 7—San Francisco, Calif. 8—Atlanta, Ga. 9—Pittsburgh, Pa. 10—Boston, Mass. Where are you and what do read, newspaper, book, internet article? What medium holds your interest?

Number 6 on the list surprises me a little. Number one in crime and number 6 in literacy. LOL I used to live in #6. I read books more than anything else. Sometimes a magazine or newspaper. I hardly ever read internet articles.

I like to read the newspaper or online articles. I love Wikipedia as a source to browse. I'm glad to see St. Louis is not completely illiterate. I consider education a cornerstone for a child's future. We need well read citizens who can think critically.
