WHY Would Anyone Do This??? (Gross-Out Alert!)

This is truly unbelieveable to me! My daughter works at a local roller-skating rink/indoor mini-golf complex, usually cleaning but sometimes she also works the concession stand. Last night they had an all-night skating session for New Year's Eve. I stayed home with my mom but my husband went to the skating rink with my daughter and the kids because she worked all night at the concession stand and had to clean up afterwards. They had a very busy night with ocer 250 kids there. Since it was New Year's Eve There were noise-makers and hats given out. Towards morning my husband went into the boy's restroom and you won't believe what he found; some ANIMAL put hats into the toilets and defecated in them! My husband and another guy who helps out there cleaned it up - I'm not sure how and I didn't ask...lol - and when my husband came out and told my daughter about it she said his face was beet-red and his hair was sticking straight up on his almost bald spot on the top of his head and he said, "You won't believe what those little ba*tards did, they sh*t in the party hats and put them in the commodes!" He then told her he'd cleaned it because there was no way he was going to leave it for her to do, but she said things like that happen all the time. Have you ever encountered pigs like this? What in God's name would ever make someone do something disgusting and grotesque like that? Annie

Its really sad that someone's idea of ringing in the new years is to sh*t in a party hat and leave it for someone else to clean it. Im feel so bad for your husband. He is a good man! I work at a retail store as a front end manager and I can tell you that the public bathrooms are disgusting. I walked in last week and someone(a female) had taken her used feminine napkin and left it in the sink. Not even the toilet but the sink. You know they did this on purpose because we have a disposal in each stall for this situation. How sick people really are. I read your passage to my daughter and told her to learn from this. She says its the same in here middle school. What are people teaching their children? This is a simple lesson in cleaniness and most importantly courtesy. Thats nothing I was at the mall doing last minute shopping and the woman in front of me passed gassed, looked at me and laughed. Was it something I said?lol

They're apparently not teaching them a thing about cleanliness or simple human decency! The woman you mention in your last sentence says a lot - if we still have adults acting like small children, how can we expect our children to learn anything? I have to say it again - YUCK!! Annie

I don't know why they do such disgusting things. When I was working in a grocery store, we had someone go in the women's bathroom and smeared feces all over. It was not just in one stall. We had 3, and it was in all of them. It was all over the sinks, paper towel holders. It was disgusting. Our manager ended up cleaning it up. The workers refused and even said they would quit before cleaning it. It is gross, and people need to use common sense.

People do gross stuff in public all times, merely because they know they won't need to clean up after themselves. It's one of the gross things about being a service worker.

That is awful, I am sure next year, there will be no party hats if there is a party at all. I am sure the kids who did the deed will be talking about it. They should be punished but I have no idea what a good punishment would be.

I used to work in a fast food restaurant when I was a teen, and some of things were horrible. People are basicaly pigs, and don't give a hoot about what mess they leave behind because someone else will clean it.

No regard for anyone else and poor upbringing is what makes ppl like this behave this way. They think it's funny but if they were caught and made to clean it up then they wouldn't ever do it again. Years ago they used to have a towel man or woman in the bathrooms. Their job was to hand out towels to the ppl in the restroom so they could dry their hands. They were also in there to keep an eye on the bathrooms. I think it's a great idea and it would be great if we went back to it. However, I don't see it happening b/c everyplace is trying to cut staff down to just about nothing. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

it might show who went in with a hat (or two) and came out without any.

you ask what in God's name... i would answer that those who would do such an act are not likely very respectful of God's Name. It could be that some goof and his friends shoved the hats into the toilet - and another body came along later and had to do his business - not wanting to put his hand in the toilet he did it ontop of the hats. either way, it is a disgusting thing and an act I hope that they will soon be remorseful of. too bad there was not security cameras outside the bathroom to determine who went in prior to your husband and they could be questioned, though, I am not sure how much good that would do.

Because there are a lot of pigs out there. I know it it disgusting and I feel sorry for you husband because he had to clean it up. But it isn't just kids or boys that do disgusting things like this. I used to work as a waitress at a legion and the old ladies there were pretty disgusting too. I would go into the woman's washroom at the end of the night and there would be poop and barf all over the sinks and floors. Now you wouldn't think that older women would do this either, but they do. And I'm not just talking once or twice but almost every weekend I would find a mess like this. People can be very disgusting and I don't understand it either.

Haven't been in something that awfull, but i know how you feel. It sucks A** when stuff like that happens. I have been involved in something almost as annoying, writing it below here. I remember Frizon, a swedish cristhian festival that i was with last year around august. Was there working with cleaning and garbage handling, a little tought but i like to work up a good swet. Worked several hours a day cleaning toilets, emptying garbage, collecting garbage and then sorting them out for recycling. One of the toughest things were the soda cans, people were so damn lasy they didn't even empty theese things. One day it was so bad when me and a friend (who almost has fobia against bees) were to take alot of cans in black garbage, bags and transfer them to transparet larger bags it reached my limit. I swear there were at least several hundred wasps that have been drawn there by the sent of all coke. Me and my friend stod there for a some hour, cutting upp black garbage cans amd emptying them of leftover soda. I can guarantee on that day, i cursed left, right and upp/down. I was so pissed on people for forcing my friend to go threw all that sh*t. After killing majbe upp towards 100 wasps i got stuck, damn i got pissed about that. Other than the Coke incident people had a generally positiv attitude, trying their best to throw their garbage at the right places. Another incident that was tough was when a boy came upp to us when we were sorting garbage, he had left his wallet in a breakfast bag and his friend accidently had throwned it away in a garbage bin. I agreed to help the boy (i could not say no to him) and almost went threw a entire container of garbage to find his wallet. Didn't find it but he was at least thankfull for me spending time searching for the wallet. I wish i had a good answer to you but i don't, a good guess is that some people just don't give a sh*t about other people.

It's really sad to think that kids think that is fun or for whatever reason they do things like that. Do they get a kick out of knowing someone else will have to clean it up? Or are they trying to cost the skating rink money by having to call a plumber? I don't get it either and I think if I were the owner or manager of the skating rink, I would put a monitor in both bathrooms. Anybody caught, and they are outta there--banned forever. You are right, that is disgusting and there is no sense in it at all.

Ewww! That is gross. Fortunately, I have never worked anywhere in which I encountered something like that and had to clean it up. Not to say that it has never happened any place that I have worked, but not during any of my shifts and or during a time when it would be my duty to clean it up or that I personally would actually encounter it. There was one time when I was out shopping at a Walmart. While I was there, I went down one aisle and seen human feces just lieing there on the floor! Ewww! Why would someone do that in the aisle of a department store?!
