Getting referrals

I joined getref.com and clickthru.com. I was wondering which would be better to get me referrals for yuwie. I have been trying to get enough on both to advertise, but if one works better than the other I can focus on that one. Do you use these? If not, what do you use to get your referrals?

I use a method of Traffic Exchanges and branding, because its not the product or service that people buy anymore, its the name and the face behind it.
