so maybe it's just because I'm on my period but I feel fat. The bulge that used to be my beer guy is sagging farther down towards the floor. So I devised a plan that I hope will be able to help me tighten back up. I am going to start back on the Slim Fast plan. They have a few meal bars that I like so I am going to try to eat those and the shakes. Last time I tried, I still felt hungry but I didn't keep up with it. Next I need to cut out sugar. i eat way too much sweets. Now for the exercise- this will be the hardest part. My uncle has a stationary bike from like the 80's. But I am going to start out with 20 minutes on there and hopefully I can fit in some kind of abdominal exercise. Anyone else have a plan to battle the bulge??

I used Slim Fast a long time ago and all it did was make me lose weight and then gain it all back plus some when I quit taking it. I've since then have learned to cut way back on my sugar and meat. This year I'm adding processed foods and fast food to that list. My biggest thing is finding exercises that I can do. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

so far I've only gotten the slim fast bars. They work great when I get a craving. It's really hard to not pig out like I was doing before. I will keep that in mind though- what you said about gaining all the weight back. I guess I need to tighten up more than lose pounds.

I don't have any fat to loose, I need to tone up. So I am starting a weight lifting plane that I may eventually add some cardio to, right now it is hard enough to stick with the weights LOL One thing I am definitely doing since my legs are the place I really have to tone up, is buying a set of leg/ankle weights that have the adjustable weight amounts and wear them under my pants all the time.

If you want to lose weight you should do more than 20 minutes a day on the bike. First of all to lose weight they say you should do at least 45 mins a day of exercise. Secondly, you should mix the type of exercise up so your body doesn't get used to it. Go on a bike one day, go swimming, do weights, go for a run, do aerobics, play a sport etc. Try to have lots of non starchy veggies, they clean your system out, burn more calories and don't make you put on weight. They will also make you feel full!
