I call all computers that aren't desktops and are portable laptop. Now there's notebook computers. What's the difference or is there a difference? Is it just the name or is there a difference in features as well?

There is no difference my friend. Now a days many people will like to call laptop as "notebooks" as they it sound a different and a bit more professional as well :).I will rather call all of these "computers".As they all are doing the same thing and have most features in common.

Its just the name... Long time back, its called laptops because they are huge and people used to work on it, putting it on their lap... Nowadays, these laptop computers have shrunk in size to about that of a notebook....which is why they are called Notebook PCs... Both names are still correct to be used....but I would usually call it notebook PC now

Hi, yes laptop and notebook are the same specs is what your asking about. So, yes depending on what brand name and how big a hard drive you want. Thats space on your laptop/notebook to load up things. Depening also on the brand name whether its known for being good quality or mediocar! Just to tell ya if you walk into a store they will show ya whats on sell to promote certain kinds more. But really tell them what you want to put on it and how you mean to use it. Being for personal use or business! Depends on what kind of operating system that you want installed on your laptop!
