I like listening to music while studying, infact i always do that whenever i study. Its a good way to help you get relaxed and somewhat it helps me to avoid stress and ENJOY studying, but i do avoid adiciting songs, sometimes it turns out to be distracting;)

When I was in the high school,I used to listeing to the music when I was doing my exercises. But now,in the college,I found that,it is hard for me to foucs on my study when I listen to the music or something else.I donn't think it is a bad thing for me,and exactly,I see it as a good habit.

No way. Not again. I have tried several times listening to music while studying .. and I always end up singing the song, listening to the beat, the lyrics and all. Instead of concentrating and memorizing lines and important facts from what you are studying, I mostly end up singing lines of the song. That's why I don't listen to music anymore. :)

I am no longer a student, but when I was I liked to multi-task - listening to music or watching television while I did my homework and studying. I got good grades, so it must have worked for me!

Always. I find it pretty hard to study without having music on, regardless what I'm studying. The music makes it easier for me to concentrate on what I'm doing.

Only if it's instrumental. I always wished I could listen to music while studying but I could never do it because I couldn't help myself singing along and getting distracted. Perhaps it's because I'm dyslexic or just that I can't multi-task, I don't know, but I had to give up in the end and just listen to wordless soundtracks like the "Braveheart" soundtrack. It's a really nice lot of music and helped me along a lot.

It depends on what i'm studying. I've learned to study while my kids played so listening to music was no big deal. I'm studing to be a Transcriptionist and when I had to transcribe obviously I couldn't listen to music and the only time I could do that was when the kids are asleep.
