new cd

my daughter got the newest cd from Casting Crowns for Christmas. It is an amazing cd. It continues to surprise me that every single song they put out is so thought provoking and just wrenches your heart out of your chest.
Their song East to West is awesome. If you haven't heard it, go to their website and take a listen. It will definately make you think about what kind of a love that Christ had for us when he went to the cross.
Anyone else heard the new cd? What do you think?

They are an awesome Christian Band. No I haven't heard this newest song of theirs. My 21 year old daughter really loves this band. They are supposed to be in concert near here within the next month or so and she would really like to go, but not sure if we will be able to or not.

I think I heard something on the radio about them coming to Alltel here in central Arkansas. But, Kristen my daughter, thought they said Mercy Me. We were going to look it up when we got home, but I completely forgot. I'm sure we'll hear the commercial again soon.

I love Casting Crowns! I'll be seeing them in May on the Music Boat Cruise. I cannot wait!!! I took my youngest daughter to see them two years ago and we had amazing seats. We were on the floor about 5 rows back! They made you feel like they were singing right to you.
At the time of that concert, my oldest daughter was going through some serious health problems and I had tears just streaming down my face when they sang Praise You In This Storm!

I love that song! Lauren has been riding with me alot because our schedules are really close. We put this cd in the player and crank up the volume. I know that people are thinking we're crazy when they pull up besides us!

I have not the Cd for Casting Crowns, but I have seen it and I have heard some of the music and I like it very much. I get the email newsletter from the Blessings Store here in Canada and every year on my birthday, I get a coupon for so much off, and I have decided to by a music Cd. I was thinking of getting one of the Wow Cds, but I will certainly look at see if they have the one by Casting Crowns. I do love their music as it is so inspiring and I will check their website.

my girls went to see them when they were here in Arkansas recently. They said the whole concert was just this awesome worship service. Every song makes your heart rejoice and encourages you to search your soul to see what your relationship with God can be improved.

I heard East to West last week on the radio. I immediately wished we had someone in our church who could sing that song with the same emotion for eveyone in church. They move the fire of your spirit, don't they? That's what they would say where my dad comes from. : )

Yes, they do move the fire of your spirit. The lead singer is the one who writes about 90% of their songs. These guys are the praise band at their church, and they simply took their message on the road. That don't do concerts on Sunday, because they are committed to being back at their home church. What a testimony.
