A Father Throws His Four Toddlers Over the Dauphin Island Bridge

One of the saddest things to happen in our area this past week was a man estranged from his wife with their four children; He basically had been arguing with her, and he took their four children ages 4 months to 4 years old, to this bridge close to an island right off the coast here and threw them into the water. To say how these little ones felt when it happened, I cannot even fathom; But at this point, that is the biggest breaking news in Mobile. the man even changed his story a couple of times to say that some woman he knew had the kids, that he didn't put them in the water, but after days of searching, they found one of the kids, and the rest should be found soon. I know that this is the story that I kept seeing the headlines for, but refused to read. I just could not bring myself to read it. Right now, my teeth are clinched together and I am so angry. This kind of stuff is so draining to me that there is almost know way to express how I feel.
All I want to know is why the innocent little children have to suffer for their parents mess. There was a time when the enemy would kill the adults, but would never harm a child. Now, their own parents are just ending their lives like it never meant a thing to them. These children's lives mattered. He must have done it just to get back at the mother.

That is just plain sickening! what in the world was this man going through? is he mentally ill or unstable? how could he do such a thing over an arguement for goodness sake. I can't believe some people..this story is one of the worse ones I have heard this year GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I can't imagine what was going through his mind as he did this. Those poor children and the grief that mother has to bear. My only hope was that the end was quick for those children and they didn't have to suffer. What monsters we have running loose in society.

I had read about this in the paper and it made me cry it is horrible I don't know how anyone can do that to a precious child!
So far they have found two of them I hope they find the other two so their mother can give them a propal burial like they deserve.

He was only thinking of himself. He was not concerned in the safety of his children. Which to me is unthinkable. God put children into parents hands for safe keeping not to use as a weapon against our spouses. Too often that is what happens. The only thing he saw in his mind to me is getting back at his wife. So what it was his children that were being used. I felt very sad when I heard this. Going to jail means he has to face the inmates that are in there. And inmates don't have any use for a person that harms children. In my book that is a very cold hearted person who could take the lives of his children. What ever he gets done to him is deserved. As one of the other responses had commented on what must have been going through the minds of the children. This was their father that was doing this to them. What is the world coming to when children are killed by their own parents. Sad, Sad, Sad.
