I want to transfer music from my pc to compact disc, but I am having dilemma on what to use, a cd-r or a cd-rW, my previous employer said that it is better to use cd-r for burning music, but i do think it is much better if I use cd-rw, because I can edit it if I want. What do you think?

CD-R's are cheaper and are compatible with more CD Players. CD-RW's are more expensive but you can delete the data and write new tracks. But since each individual disc is so cheap you might as well just throw away an old disc and burn a new one. So I suggest CD-R's, you can get a pack of 100 for about $20 USD.

I would generally go for cd-r because thier speed is more and Cd-rw were basically used for multiple data transfer from one plce to other Also thier speed is also low

CD-Rs are so cheap that I would prefer it for music. CDRW create more probs when you erase and reuse multiple times. I may be wrong but this has been my experience.
