Host Gator: Help I'm lost!

Ok so I bought a domain name, and then I bought some hosting over at host gator. I changed all the info on my domain and that's about as far as I got, lol. I've only ever delt with free sites so when I checked out the cpanel... I totally freaked. I'm so lost! What I'm trying to set up is an online store, any advice on how to use Host Gator?
