What Would You Do?

My grandmother had an MRI done and got the test results back on Friday. The results show that she has had a few mini strokes and that she has dementia. She told my aunt and told her not to tell anyone else in the family about it. Well my aunt told me and I told my mom. My mom called my grandmother and asked her about it. And they talked for a long time about her conditions. My grandmother asked my mom not to say anything to anyone else because she doesnt want people to worry about her. Well my grandma is mad at my aunt for telling me and worrying my mom and myself. I think the whole family should know just in case something happens. What would you do? Would you tell the family or would you keep it to yourself?

I was in that similar situation... so what i would do is respect your grandmother's wish to keep it a secret for the time being... but i would surely encourage her not to keep it for a long time... her children has the right to know about her real condition... but she also has the right o keep it from them... so... i guess the only thing that you can do is to offer your support and constantly encourage her to divulge her medical condition to other family member that can help finacially and emotionally...
