Bob a truely darling picture. Buster looks so much like my dog Shilo they could be brothers. It's wonderful that Buster has found a companion in your Dad and am sure it could be just as benificial for Dad.

I don't look at it as being clingy. I look at a dog wanting to be near someone as wanting to show/be loved and attention. Tigger here wants nothing more than to lay in my arms all day/all night if I let him. In fact, he's crying now cause I won't let him in my arms right now. I can't type with a 10lb cat laying in my arms. lol

I think Buster has a real 6th sense about what your Dad needs. He needs extra love and attention, and Buster is helping out. It probably does your Dad good having Buster on his lap. There are proven physical benefits from just petting a dog.

yes that is cute indeed! i love how buster's eyes look in the photo. it is as if his expression was 'wha??' what's going on with that bright lightning flash?? do you show buster photos of himself? whether in digital form or in paper printed form? i'm sure it would amuse him. especially if it were a larger form. or how does buster react to mirrors?

That is a cute photo. He looks like he's saying, "Why are you taking my picture?" My grandfather is in a wheelchair and my grandma's dog loves to get up there with him and just sit and get rubbed by him. She'll even ride around in it with him if he goes outside or something. It's sweet.

I think the photo epitimises that saying "A man and his Dog". Buster is a very handsome dog, but he so obviously loves being with your Father. It's really good that your Dad relates so well to Buster.

So clingy Buster is now with Grand-grandpa. It is very interesting that Buster is very good at making friends with every family member in the house. I guess that Buster must be a very gentle one and friendly one as well.

Awe, how adorable! I wonder which one was gettting the biggest kick out of having their picture taken together. I have to say with the way Buster has his head turned that he could easily be a camera ham! LOL

The was so cute, that's what pet gives us, happiness and therapy, for me my whoppie is the best therapist specially when I have problems I do talk to her. She loves to take a nap also in my nap.

Hi Grandpa Bob looks like your dad and Buster are hitting it off really well. the photo is really cute. glad your dad and buster are getting to be chummy. thats good for both of them. when I was last in the hospital a lady who trains dogs to visit sick people came into my room with the cutest dog and let us allhold the puppy and pet it, I dont know who had the most fun the puppy or us, as the puppy was quite the little show off. He looked a lot like your Buster too.
