This was taken early Tuesday morning. It was on my front door window. Doesn't it look like some type of fossil? Doesn't it also look like a couple of feathers as well? Well it's ice crystals formed on my screen door wondow. I love this shape. Thanks for allowing me to share this here. Have a great day/evening also.

I love that photo GRANDPA BOB...To me it looks more like a grouping of feathers..like ostrich feathers..don't ask..I uh, know what ostrich feathers look like as I have a ostrich feather duster..LOL
It's truly amazing the different forms ice crystals will take..isn't nature something else?

I was thinking the feathers of the extinct DoDo bird. HAHAHAHA! J/K. Yes nature and it's beauty is wonderful, amazing, and loved by myself.

Oh Bob I love this one - it really does look like feathers laying on a dark background. Amazing what we can find on our own front door :)

I love seeing this formation each day when it's this cold. Since I got a new back door I don't get them on my back door now. It's too well insulated. HAHAHA!

Hello dear Grandpa Bob. Smiling to my dear Grandpa. Yeah, I have to say that this is a great combination of the three, making them look like fossil, some feathers and ice crystals and it is almost hard to tell which is which. lol. Happy response to Grandpa Bob.

It is just an ice crystal formation on my windwo is all. Not the fossil nor feathers. Just ice. But the shape looks like those things.

I think the beautiful thing about patterns in nature are its symmetry. Kinda reminds me of the tessalations by MC Escher. But those somehow seem more man made. still very clever but not as simple and pure as the repetitions in a snowflake, or in skeletons, on in the repeated feathers that make up a large bird's wing.
creation is just so wonderful. have a great day too!

Hi GRANDPA BOB! Yes, it does look like a feather to me. It looks so soft and if you didn't say that they are crystals, I will be fooled. They look so soft like feathers. Thanks for sharing the photo. It is really beautiful. Take care and have a nice day! :)
