I have a 3.8 L V-6 engine that will not inject gas through the fuel injectors. It has good ignition and good fuel pump pressure (39PSI) that stays at 39 even after the key is turned off. If i put some gas in a funnel and put it in the throttle body and try to start it it fires off for a few seconds. A scan tool shows code 11 System pass. I changed the coolant temperature sensor and the air charge temperature sensor. Dist cap and rotor anfd plugs are all ok. The plugs are not wet with gas when pulled out. Its just that the injectors do not want to inject gas. The car was sitting for 5 years with the front end up on ramps. No other problems. It worked fine before it was on ramps and not started for a few years. Fuel pump relay is ok, the inertial swith is ok and the fuel pump works fine and no filters are clogged. What did i miss? Is the fuel rail clogged with scale or the injectors clogged? If so can the tips of the injectors be cleaned in a solvent?
