What programs/benefits are available?

My youngest child (he is 9 years old) has been going through some test this week (and will take a few next week) to see if he is possible gifted in 6 different areas. I was curious as to what kind of programs and/or benefits there are for gifted children so I looked around online for some time yesterday. I was pretty amazed at what I found and that was....NOT MUCH..=( It seems like there really are not many programs or benefits available to a "gifted" child. If any of you know of different organizations that my child and/or I could be involved in, please let me know. Also, if you parents of gifted children have any advice, please let me hear it. Thanks in advance for any and all post.

It depends on where you live. Some states have exclusive schools for gifted children. Try looking some more and I pray you'll find one! Congratulations for having a gifted child. Not everyone is gifted like you!
