Have you ever gotten a massage? I have a gift certificate for an hour massage and i have never gotten one. Hoping to get it soon but i don't know if i will be comfortable with it or not...Are you suppose to lie there naked or do you keep some clothes on...I'm just soooo confused!!!What would you do?

Hi mag, Yes, I have gotten massages and they are great! I have a wonderful lady who gives me mine. They are soooo relaxing and really healthy for you. No, you don't have to be entirely naked. I do remove my bra, but leave my panties on. I lay on my stomach first and get a good massage all down my back and my legs and feet. Then, she pulls the covers up and I roll onto my back and she massages my arms, neck, legs again and then my face and scalp. Oh, I don't want it to end! You will love it! It is so wonderful! You will want one everyday after you have this one! Go and get it!!

I have gotten them and I am lucky enough to have a husband that is an awesome massage therapist. I am an equine massage therapist, meaning I work on horses. Horses have less to worry about, as they're not getting even partially naked. I'd like to pass on some advice to you. Or at least let you know what my husband tells his clients. First let me say that laws vary by state. Some states permit totally naked massage, some require you to have your underware or shorts on. That depends on the state you live in. We are in Kansas, and here, it's whatever you are comfortable with. Your therapist will let you know. My husband tells his clients to "get as undressed as you are comfortable." The key to a good massage is communication with your therapist. Let him or her know if something feels good, or if they need to concentrate on that area with a little more pressure. Be sure to tell them about any painfull areas or sore muscles you have. Note to this... Massage therapists are not supposed to work on bruised areas. Just relax and enjoy. Once you have a good massage by a professional, you will find that it is one of the most relaxing yet energizing things you can do for yourself.

This is something that I would Love to do, but I never have. Just the thought of lieing there and being messaged all over is wonderful. I think we tend to keep our bodies too personal. You don't need to worry about anything. The massage therapist will tell you what to wear. Why not lie back and let the world go by? Open your heart and let the music flow! Have a Great message!

you can get nekkid or u can keep some clothes on.. its all about comfort.. if you are comfortable with a full body, why dont u start with a head and shoulders massage, pull your bra straps to the side and just relax... i was nervous for my first one, but i was so much more relaxed afterward that i now love them. i've gotten full bodies (kept my choines on) and just about every body part you can think of. if you think u'd be more comfortable with a female or a male, tell them when you make the appointment. if you dont think you'll like it, then don't go.. but i'm pretty sure u will.
