My "designated" job

Well it was a typical Sunday in Grandpa Bobs househole. HAHAHAHA! The wife and I did the cleaning of the place including dscrubbing and laundry etc. After she got done vacuuming the house I asked her to empty the vac and clean it good as it was full of dog hair and nasty looking. She smiled saying, "That's your job Bob." Hahahaha! I always seem to be the one that has to clean and wash the vac and dust tub and filter for it. So do you have an "assigned" "designated" chore that you are expected to do and not your SO?

I don't have a SO, so I have it all to do! So I am assigned it all, not just one specific task to do! I suppose another task of yours would be take out the trash!

I also do most everything except on Sundays.
Guess housework is my job then huh? HAHAHA!!

Ummm I can't think of one househole (LOL) job that I am NOT suppose to do.... I'm really trying hard here to think of at least one thing!!!!!!! I suppose if we had a backyard then he would do the lawns but then again, i might be wishing too hard HAHAHA!

My wife loves mowing the yard. But she can never strat the lawnmower. Hee hee. I really love doing the yard work and gardening around here. The wife loves it as well when I do it. She does get out and get her hands dirty each morning early in the spring and summer pulling weeds etc. She loves the garden and flowers as much as I do.

No, we just both do different things each time. And by the way... the vacuum that you have is the same one I used to have before I bought my new one.

I love this vac. I've had it quite some time now. I need a
new filter as it is ragged and the gasket is broken. Those
things are nearly $20 though. HAHAHAHA!

I don't have a SO, but if I did, there are two things I would always ask him to do: take out the trash, and mop the kitchen floor. I don't know why, but mopping the kitchen floor gets to me. I don't mind dishes, vacuuming, or even scrubbing the toilets, but please no kitchen floor.

We both take out the garbage. If it needs to be taken out in the mornings my wife will take it out as she leaves for work. Otherwise I take it out as needed. We both mop but most times it is I that does it during the week as there isn't much traffic in the house then as it's just dad & I during the weekdays.

yes when it comes to the cat, litter and food and cleaning the mess she makes every day. I do the laundry, sorting, house cleaning and wash dishes too but my husband can do it when I'm not feeling well. i just don't like it when he does it because it seems he uses more detergent and when washing dishes he always uses dishwasher whereas wash by hand won't kill

We both share doing the laundry. I do it during the week as needed and she does it on Sundays. We both share in the cleaning up Busters poo in the yard as well. I am the one that does the dishes most the time. She isn't home during the days so I do them after she leaves for work. We don't have nor really want a dishwasher either. We don;t dirty enough dishes for the use of one.

So you did have a very busy day yesterday doing the cleaning job at home. But it makes you feel good when you see the house nice and clean again after your hard work. Guess that you must be very tired after the cleaning job, my dear Grandpa Bob and Grandma Debbie. Have a good rest.

I am always tired be it from cleaning, myLotting or just sitting around. I am naturally a lazy person actually. VERY lazy. HAHAHAHA! I am tired after this but it's got to be done though. I can't wait for the summer so I can get outside in my territory doing the garden work etc.

Well Grandpa Bob I am on my own so everything is my Job but even when I was married and working full time as well as bringing up 2 Children everything was my Job to as my Ex Husband preferred his Social Life with his Friends

My family has always expected me to do the shopping for groceries Grandpa Bob. So I have to mind all the time whether we have enough stocks of everything and that we don't run out of anything. But I love doing the shopping that i just don't mind it at all.

Yeah, taking care of my fur babies. Since I'm the one that wants them, I'm the main caretaker of them. Hubby will let them out and feed them sometimes but when it comes down to baths, brushing, trip to the vet..it's all my doing which I'm happy to do for my babies. And he wonders why they just tolerate him. lol

I'm always in charge of the kitchen, cooking and do the market. Since my children are old enough to help me in house chores, they do the cleaning of their room and all parts of the house. My mom do the laundry because she was happy and used to do that aside from other things in the house.

I also seem to have been designated as the newspaper/recycling boy around the house. The wife reads the paper on Sunday and it stays on the floor wqhere she threw it until I pick it up. HAHAHA! I do the cooking all but on Saturday afternoons and Sundays as well. I love cooking/baking a lot really.

guess what, it is also my hubby's designated job to clean out the dust from the vacumn cleaner! guess it's too dusty for most women to want to do that! my hubby does a great job with it though. he washes it really clean. and once, he even washed a portion fo the filter that wasn't meant to be washed!! we had a hard time drying it out thereafter!
