How did you experience your first working day?

I'm going to get to work for the first time in a couple of hours. I am very excited and nervous about it, because I never experienced anything like it before (perhaps first day in college, but then again that's totally different).
How did you guys experience your first working day?

My first day on the job (real job, not part time jobs in school) was pretty good. I was a little nervouse, going to my first job. I felt my day started off right though when I remembered the name of someone I met in the lab when I interviewed, though! It was a little like the first day of college in that I met a lot of new people...but at the same time, at college, I still felt like I was under some sort of protective wing, and my first day at the job I felt like it was just me. In a good way, though! My advice is be as friendly as you can to everyone (at least at first...LOL), volunteer to help however you can and don't be afraid to learn! Good luck on your first day!
