Once again I was fortunate enough to get some great comps from Mystic Lake casino. The wife & I went there this morning (Sat) for just 30 minutes or so. We also picked up our daughter as she was kid free this weekend also. Anyhow I cashed in my $15 free cash coupon and played one of my favorite penny slots and within 30 minutes I had doubled it. We stayed just a short time as we went to a movie with our daughter as well. Have you ever dioubled your money in a casino in a short time? Have you ever went there just to get the free cash without playing any slots etc? I never have. That was our plans today but as we walked through the vcasino my wife saw her favorite game open and wanted to play. She lost a grand total of less than $2 while I won. Woo Hooo!!

Last time my sister and I went to Reno NV we where sitting at a bar and I won over 45 dollars on 1 dollar keno slot game. I was happy we had fun with the money.
I did not even finish my drink I gave it to her she drank it. I do not drink much.

Grats. There are only a few casinos around here that I know that serves
li quor. I am glad I don't drink anymore. Drinking and gambling are not a great combo in my eyes.

My sister's friend likes to gamble and we stayed at Harrah's in Atlantic City because of her points (free.) She won everything she lost, and me & my sister lost on her last day before they left & even made some money....

I may hate gambling seriously like that of my husband but I am not averse to gambling in the spirit of fun. I haven't ever played any cash coupon and I don't think there is any being given for free from where I come from. The closest that I came to playing for free was when my boss gave me and some of my colleagues about $50 each to be spent in the casino right in the hotel where are were checking in. Though we spent only a portion of what our boss each gave us, but we enjoyed our time in the casino.

Congrats on winning some money at the casino, Grandpa Bob. Whenever I go to a casino, I always walk out with what I walked in with. That way I didn't actually lose anything. Hubby walked out once with, I think, $100 off the dollar machines. He intended to just sink a few dollars in but the last one is what he won with.

I'm going to miss going to the Casinos with my Mom...she has been my gambling partner for years since I can never get anyone else go go! We had our good days and our bad ones but we always enjoyed our trips to Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods...both in CT.

Same here. Mom would have dad drive 200 miles to drop her off here for the weekend and we went to various casinos and Bingo halls. I would also drive up there sometimes meeting them at the casino also. Took a few years before I got used to her not being next to me at a slot machine or bingo seat.
