Here is a great questionnaire to take to help you discover which Linux distribution is best suited for you: http://www.zegeniestudios.net/ldc/index.php I currently use Kubuntu 7.1. Which Linux distribution do you use? For those that took the test, which Linux distro was recommended to you?

I use openSUSE 10.3, and I think it's the best distro I ever used... I didn't take the test because I'm believe that openSUSE suits me best. Anyway I ever used Ubuntu Dapper Drake, and i think that ubuntu and it's family is a great distro too, plust the ubuntu community is the largest, kindest and helpful.

Come on. Take the test for fun and let us know if the distribution chooser selects OpenSUSE as the most suitable distro for you. If you won't do it for yourself, then do it for the benefit of the myLot community. LOL.

I installed the latest version of Ubuntu last month. It was a little slow on my 5-year-old laptop! I should have taken that test before installing it. I'm planning to install Xubuntu over it.

The Linux distibution chooser is definately a handy tool. I've never tried xubuntu before. That's the great thing about linux though, try as many distros as you feel like and keep the one you like best.
