I have some scallops in the freezer that I was thinking about making for dinner on Friday, but I have no idea how to cook them. I have never made them before. Anyone know how to cook them? Got a recipe that calls for scallops?

Personally, I like them on the grill. Simply marinate them in a not-too-salty marinade (vinagrettes usually work well) with a little bit of garlic and favorit herbs thrown in, along with some lemon or lime juice. Soak some bamboo skewers. Chop some favorite veggies into cubes. After about 1/2 hour, thread them evenly onto the skewers and grill for about 10 minutes, rotating for even cooking. Voila! Simple and great! This can be served with just about any side, or even placed over pasta for a "scallop primavera"! Enjoy!

I just stir fry them, very simple and taste good too. Check the ingredients below and how to cook them. Ingredients, scallops, some cooking oil, shallot - finely chopped garlic - finely chopped ginger - sliced leek - 3 trees 1 carrot - slice cauliflower - cut small broccoli - cut small baby corn - slice red chilies - shredded oyster sauce 1/2 tsp corn flour water salt, black pepper powder, preparation. heat the oil, and add the shallot, garlic and ginger until aroma arose. Add in the scallops and stir for a while until half cook Add in the veggies and stir for a while. add in the oyster sauce and the water and the corn flour. Stir for another 3 minutes and serve hot with plain rice.
