Do you think "logical only" marriages would work?

There can be many reasons to marry someone. It might be love, or some other reasons such as money, social situation etc etc. Not all of them have to be bad things though but What's your opinion about logical only relationships? Can they love each other by time? Would it be a healthy marriage?

The idea of love and marriage is a recent developement. Romance novels of the 19th century and finally in the mid 20th centure. Weddings before that were either of convenience or were arranged. That doesn't mean that the people didn't come to love their partner, in fact that may be a reason that there were less divorces and problems. The people knew there place in the relationship. Today with marriages because of romantic love, that hot and heavy feeling leaves, and only if you respect and honor your partner can the true love grow and take over. I actually think that logical marriages are actually a better thing and more stabel in the long run.
