OK, it has been a long time since Corpse Bride is released but I have just recently watched it and simply LOVED that wonderful movie:) Have you watched Corpse Bride? If you have, then what would you do if you were in the situation of Victor? I would be pleased to hear that. It was so tragic for me... The corpse bride was looking so sad and innocent and even Victoria:(

I love Time Burton's style and imagination. The Corpse Bride was not particularly great to me,...one of my all time fav movies is The Nightmare BeforeChristmas. :]

You should - it's such an awesome film and the songs in it are very cool! It's like a slightly darker (tho not necessarely adulty) disney film!!

I liked the film, but i have to admit i was a little disappointed at first. I absolutely love the nightmare before christmas and made the mistake of comparing the two too much! It just does not compare to nightmare before christmas, but taken on it's own merits it's very good, very strange idea but it works very well! I never thought of the contrast in colours between the two worlds, but now you mention - it is a very clever idea. I thnk victor made the right decision, he was going to stand by his bride - allbeit the wrong one! Luckily the film has a happy ending!! Think i'll have to watch it again sometime, you often get a different impression second time round!

I haven't seen the nightmare before christmas yet but I will watch it soon. Corpse Bride made me feel good really, but when I thought about Victor's situation I felt so sorry for him :)

I unfortunately have not seen the ending of the Corpse Bride, so I can't comment on Victor's decision! (I saw the all but the last...I don't know, the people around me said the last 20 minutes (I had to leave early due to a family issue and have not rented it since.) Like a few other posters, however, I was not particularly fond of it. I, too, was guilty of comparing it to the Nightmare Before Christmas. The two are entirely different. You simply have to see the Nightmare Before Christmas, though. :P I'm sure that you would adore it, as well.
