When will you retire?

At what age do you intend to retire? The retirement age, and benefits vary from countrey to country. In Australia it's 65. I'll be 68 this year and have been working on an annual contract for the past decade. My boss has already spoken to me about 2009, and providing I'm fit and well, and continue enjoying my job, I'll continue to teach. Have you planned your retirement, or are you already retired. I'd like to hear other people's views on this subject.

I don't want to retire. I wish I can work till I reach 105 and than I can enjoy my life. This is very serious and I am not joking. I love working, am I workaholic? Should I treat my addiction?

I think that's excellent, and you don't have to be a workaholic to enjoy what you do. I wish I could continue past 70, but I have bad ankles and knees from my younger sporting days, so it probably wont be possible. Good luck to you, and if your dreams come true you can listen to 60s music for another ???? years.

I retired 3 1/2 years ago and I love it. When I worked I was a woraholic. Now I do whatever I want whenever I want. Social Security kicked in last year so money isn't as tight now so life is pretty good. Of course a lottery win would help a lot...lol.

I'm not a workaholic now, I teach only twenty-nine hours a week, and half of that is on weekends, so I have plenty of free time. However, while me health (mental and physical) is good, and I love what I'm doing, I won't retire.
