how do you prepare for an exam, do you read all night a day to an exam or do you just revise your notes and textbooks then play with friends, as for me i just revise my lecture notes, notes that i made while reading then listen to music or do anything that i enjoy doing.

Good discussion topic, I am actually in the process of writing a book on how to prepare for exams. Unfortunately I could not just read my notes as the information would not retain in my head enough. Sometimes I use to type up the notes. Another technique I used to do was colour code my notes. I also got the key words out of the lecture notes and put it into a brainstorm map. As the more words there was to retain the harder it was for me to remember. I also made up flash cards with questions on one side and answers on the back and got friends to test me. I have used many other techniques. Happy to give you more tips if you ever find that you need them.

Usually I do not prepare for an exam. I think we need review the lessons after classes. And we need master them before the test day. So the day before an exam, I usually let myself relaxation.

I normally try to read way ahead of the exam, and some few days to the exams, I will take time to revise my notes and jottings in class but I really dont read all night.

I never prepared. When exam comes I only read a novel just to keep my mind relax.
