Is There a 12 Step Program For Mylot Yet?

I have a new friend in Mylot, and she mentioned that one of the things she was trying to do was ween herself from the computer. So this morning I am thinking there are many of us that are so addicted that every spare moment we are here checking on our friends, offering advice, comfort, not to mention all of the ribbing, flirting innuendo and games we so love to play.
Heck even if I do not have time to shoot of a response I have to log on to see that I am missing.
So is there a 12 step group for Mylot? If so who heads up the group? Who leads the group in the prayer? How big is the group? Does everyone remain anonymous? Most important where does the group meet?
Oh that last one would probably be mylot huh?

I am with YOu mummymo as I am to old and set in my ways now to change many of my habits :)) At least mylot is the lest of the evils one could be enjoying:)))
And you are like me if something happened to your computer you would just buy a new one :)))

Mylot is a big bunch of beautiful people with each unique characteristics. And yes, we are being grouped according to our likings. But as much as possible I am trying to be flexible. But of course, I am not denying the fact that I have favorites.

Yes, this site is most definitely addictive. And it only gets a stronger pull on you as you make new online friends and become interested in what they have to say and what is going on in their lives, etc.
To avoid the cold turkey leaving of mylot, I suggest to you that you instead, delete everyone on your friends list, and when you make replies to discussions, make sure you do not recognize any of the alias names on the originating post. That will allow you to forget about all of those so-called "friends", and you can soon grow bored with the site, and then leave it for good.
What do you think of THAT "plan"? :P

Yes its ture, Canada the more you get to know the people who are in your friends list the more you want to be right here in the action. I am always afraid I am going to miss something going on. With my group of friends you never know whats going to happen next :)))
Theres a hole in your plan and that is even under fake names I can spot my friends LMAO or at least know that I like that new friend and see there ya go I would be right back in the middle of everything again.... Sigh I fear there is no hope!

I think that I am slowly slipping into addiction - of course it's too early for me to recognise that yet and I shall need someone to point it our to me. I shall then deny it for some time before breaking down and admitting that its the most fun you can have with your clothes on. (Probably some people do it with their clothes off too). There should be a counseling centre locally to you. It is E enabled and I have found it under the heading: www.MyLot.com. There are many many suffers there. To my knowledge, no-one ever recovers.

My name is cynicalandoutspoken and I am a myLotaholic! As if my number doesn't give that away considering I have only been here since shortly before Christmas.
I use myLot to get things off my chest. I write discussions about things that have happened to me, about questions I want answers to, discussions about my kids, my friends, my family. And others just to get a "rise" out of my readers.
I used to write blogs on myspace to get all of this off of my chest but now I come here. I get plenty of more responses and the people here don't know me like my friends on myspace do so they tend not to sugar coat their answers.
I love this place and am proud to call myself a myLotaholic.
