Do you have an assortment of sizes in your closet? Do you keep the clothes you wear when you lose five or ten pounds then have others in case you gain it back? I have an assortment.. unfortunately....I hope someday to keep off what I want and stay the same size! How about you?

Ha- well I actually just went through my closet this past weekend. I did have quite a few sizes. I decided to get rid of some of it. No sense in anticipating that I'll gain weight. Some of the clotehs I haven't worn in years.

The only thing that I have that I keep on hand is my jeans. I have a couple of pairs that are to tight now.But I hope to loose some weight this summer so I can wear the jeans next year.

Yup, guilty as charged! I have the clothing in my closet and two additional sets of clothing in the attic that are in two sizes smaller than my current size. I lost 50 pounds a few years back and have slowly regain the entire amount! I am in the process of losing the weight (have lost 25 again!) and have clothing ready to use as I lose. I know better than to get rid of the clothing!

I have clothes that I have owned when I was still younger. And I can say that some of it still fits me. If I have clothes with me when I was still bigger, I just cut them up and reconstruct them to fit me better.

That's a very good idea. Then they don't sit around not being used.

Not really, I have a couple of pants that are diffreent sizes. That is mainly because for some brands I can wear a 32 and other I wear a 33 or 34. my shirts are all the same size and a few of my jackets vary from 40R to 42S. Again for the same reasons, I think it dose make a lot of since to keep things around in diffrent sizes for this reasons instead of constantly buying new clothes or only buying from one brand in my case.

My weight doesn't fluctuate that much so I don't have fat and skinny clothes. I did, however, donate a ton of very old clothes last week. They were taking up space in the closet. Mainly sweaters that haven't been worn in years or left here when our kids moved out. I've worn the same size jeans for a long time which is a good thing. I've been blessed not to have a weight problem.

I do have assorted types of them, I did gained some weight but does not look fat. I love using skinny/body fit-type of clothes, since it shows my body physique. The weather also has something to do with it, as I prefer to use the loose ones when it's hot or sunny and the fitted ones when it's cold..

i have different sizes of clothes in my closet (except for smaller sizes that wouldn't fit in me). but not because i'm thinking of wearing them if i change in my body size like gain or lose a lot of pounds. my size is practically stable, i mean, i don't easily change in size, no matter how i eat less or eat more. ^__^ i keep clothes of different sizes because sometimes i like wearing loose shirts especially when the weather is hot. and then, i also wear loose shirts when cleaning up or doing some field work. ^__^

My clothes range from size 12-16 and or M-XL. I have gotten rid of a lot XL items as I'm hoping that I never get back to that size. I have lost 24 pounds and still need to lose another 30 to get down to my ideal weight. I am going to keep a few larger items around as sometimes I like to blob out in them at home. My weight has fluctuated over the last few years and I'm praying this time round it stays down! Its hard work.

The clothes in my closet range from an 8 to a 14. Even the stuff that is clearly too big on me now I still keep around because I like it. I will eventually clean out my closet one of these years and get rid of all the stuff that doesn't fit anymore, but I don't see myself doing this anytime soon.

I can't see me doing that either. You are right...some I keep around just because I like them!

I still keep my clothes which are smaller or bigger than my current weight for about 6 months. Just in case my figure changes, i actaully still would have clothes to wear and not buy a new one again. But if i though i could maintain the figure, then i give it away to the person who i think needs it more than my keeping it in the closet

That is a good way to look at it to donate them to someone that really needs them....and six months is a good amount of time to keep something! Thanks for sharing!
