Up to now I never watched the news on tv and still don't read newspapers so years ago I subscribed to the Boston Globe and Lynn Item (the city I live in) online just to try to keep up with local events and a little bit of the news....good or bad! I enjoy being able to click through pages that interest me and there are usually little cartoons that make me laugh or at least bring a smile to my face.
Do you subscribe to any newspapers online? Local or otherwise?

That's true and I didn't think about that. It's free and saves us the .50 which I find a ridiculous amount to pay for a newspaper.

No, I don't subscribe to a local newspaper online, ctry, but I do receive news alerts from a couple of the larger national newspapers. What I do subscribe to is a local TV station where I can go to get all the latest news and community events. I also have an RSS Feed so that I can access a story that I am following quickly.
