Anyone care to share how they *Legitimately* got referells?

I would have to agree with gifts, invite friends and family. Not all of them are going to be active, but some will. Think about people you might talk with alot on other sites too. Keep in touch with the people you refer. Give them some ideas on what to start a discussion about. Sure, you might not start the discussion yourself, but it will encourage them to start a discussion and that might get them caught up in the excitement of it all. Or you can start a discussion that you know will interest them and then send them the link about it. If you have people that have signed up, but aren't doing anything, contact them and ask them why they haven't posted anything. Maybe they are unsure on how to start a discussion or what they are supposed to do after signing up. I know it took me about 4 days to figure things out all on my own. Some people aren't as patient. It could be that they just didn't want to have to ask for help and so they haven't really done anything yet. Anyways, hope some of this helps ya! Good luck! :)
