How many key fobs do you carry on your key chain? I try to keep mine streamlined because someone told me that too many keys can actually harm your ignition. So, I have two sections to my keeps and they can be separated. One portion has my car key and my most often used key fobs which include: The Library card key fob, Hallmark, Arby's Extras, D*ck's Scorecard Rewards and my Kroger Plus card for the grocery store. The other half has my 3 office keys and my Borders rewards, PetSmart Perks, another Hallmark Crown Rewards, CVS Extra Care, Q100's Insider (my local radio station)Petland Club Pet, Ingles Advantage, and Best Buy Reward Zone.
Together they all weigh 4 ounces.
How about all of you? Do you keep your keys and fobs to a minimum or are you carrying the key to everything?

Wow, you hit the nail on the head. I had never thought of it before, but when I went to weigh mine , I was floored to find they weighed in at a whopping 14 ounces. No wonder I have worn out 2-starters in my truck. I have everything on my key fobs, chains, memotoes. You name it, I not only have keys attached to all of them, but I really don`t know what to dicard??

Get a Carabeener (I am not sure if that is how to spell it or if it is what it is called) and remove everything that doesn't have to be on your key chain. A Carabeener is one of those hook like things that people use while climbing mountains, or other outdoor natural sports. You can find them in most sporting goods stores. What you want to have on one side are your car keys and any fobs you use regularly like a grocery store fob. Put all of that stuff on one key loop and attach it to the carabeener. Then, grab another loop and attach all of the other stuff like pictures and least used fobs. If you haven't used it in the past 1 - 6 months, it is less necessary on your keychains. Then, attach that loop to the carabeener and, when you get into the car, just unclip your keys from the carabeener and put the rest of your fobs and such in one of your drink cup holders or somewhere in your console. Or, carry them all in your purse.
Good luck! Consider it a streamlining that could save your repair costs on your truck!
