I live in Illinois and it started at 7:43 p.m. It will be fully eclipsed in 73 minutes. I started watching it dissappear. It's very cold out, so I am going to go back out and watch it in about 1/2 hour. This is the last total eclipse of the moon until 2010. It is very cool to watch. Are you or did you watch it? PEACE

I'm so jealous!!!! I've been looking forward to this eclipse for a long time now! The skies have been perfectly clear all week, so I was expecting a great view of the eclipse tonight. I got my telescope out and attached my camera to it, so I'd be ready to take pictures of the moon all night. The sky was still clear at moonrise, and I got a few shots. Then when I went back an hour later, the moon had disappeared behind a thick blanket of clouds! It has stayed that way ever since! I'm so disappointed!
