Have you sen a great film only once on purpose. It was great but you never saw it again?I have a few great films that I only saw once.Schindler's List is one. It was a powerful, moving film but I don't want to see again.Once was enough. Another is Raiders Of the Lost Ark.I saw it in the theater and it was exciting but I haven't seen it since. Then there are the must see horror films, Carrie and The Exocist.I Had to see them to see what everyone was talking about.Once was certainly enough. How about you, is there a good film you have only seen once?

The winner of the Oscar last year, The Departed. I watched it once and will never watch it again. It was quite depressing. Another Oscar winner, The Godfather. Once was enough for me. Man of the Year, with Robin Williams (love him). Very good movie but won't watch it again. There are actually quite alot of movies I won't watch again, mostly modern movies. Most of the classics I could watch over and over again. PEACE

i am the complete opposite when it comes to The Godfather and The Departed. I own both and once is too much and 50 times is not enough.I have seen the Godfather so many times I can recite dialogue but I will still watch it.And with The Departed there are some great lines in it that I love hearing over again.

sarah, two more that had wonderful performances by the actresses/actors, but were so sad or depressing I have no desire to see them again. Sophie's Choice, with the amazing Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline. I think I went through a half box of kleenex during that one. Leaving Las Vegas, with Nicholas Cage and Elisabeth Shue. PEACE

Psycho. I love Hitchcock, I love Anthony Perkins, I think it was a travesty that Anthony Perkins wasn't nominated for an Oscar for the role. But, Norman Bates scared me so much that I am never watching that movie again.

Several of the above you are right about and I wouldn't care to see expect for Shindler's list. I would watch that one again. Most of the time if I think that it's a good movie I will watch it more then once because you miss so much by only seeing it...like in the sixth sense. It wasn't until I read an article and then watched the movie again did I realize that everything that had to do with the super natural was red in the movie...so I have a tendency to watch them more then once....The exorcist...I could do without ever seeing again and a few others of Stephen King's....Christine...Pet Cemetary..those are one timers.

I agree. I only saw Carrie. That was enough.I like films where there is a surprise ending. But with those, I usually want to see them over again to see if I can see all the clues I missed.
