Have you ever tried the Ukrainian art of egg decorating? using the special tool for applying melted and dyed beeswax onto eggs.. the results are so beautiful and intricate pieces of art. I am wondering if it is something a 13 year old would be able to accomplish - maybe simpler designs. she is very art oriented, but not very good at following instruction... more figuring of things out on her own and applying her own twist.

I've never heard of this before but sounds interesting and like something I would love to try - depending on the 13 year old I'm sure she could figure out her own method... That's how I do everything - LOL I canceled the $50 class on doing stained glass and got 2 books from the book store - next new project for me - stained glass.

Wow - I looked at the page you sent and those eggs are beautiful, gee I think if your going to do it going ahead and the extra 5 dollars would be worth it. I'm going to have to do some research of my own on this - I want to make them :)

Years ago I had a next door neighbor who used to decorate her Easter eggs this way. The designs looked very intricate, but I think you could do something simple. I know it took her a long time to do the eggs. I've never seen any like them since, they were beautiful.
