this coming march 16 we celebrate the making of our city or we call it in our dialect as "araw ng Davao"..its a one week celebration starting from every barangays to performed some cultural presentation everynight at the park and on the last day we had some street parade showing off different themes on their respective floats...some even dances on the street with their colorful costumes...people living in and outside davao watch this yearly presentation, including foreigners and balikbayans..what about in your place do you have some activities like this??...just curious and like to know..

Surely.... You would have a nice time.. You would have been waiting for the Ides of March to come. And friend, i would like ask you, how far is "Angeles" from "Davao" Is it too far.. 'coz i have a good online friend here in Angeles.. And regarding this, the cultural weeks framed in the forms of festivals always gives us the opportunity to understand each other.. and helps us to mitigate the small small differences that may surface now and then in every one's life. Also it serves as a platform for us, to meet our friends and relatives, and helps us to share our feelings. Certainly, i my country,.. to there are festive occasions like this the "Navarathri".. Celebrated for nine days.. with Lord Kali.. adoring various forms during these nine days. And similarly we have Vinayagar Chathurthi.. where Big big idols of Lord Ganesha.. are made.. and worshiped. The Entire country will adore a festive look on this occassion. Take care VAnities.

Exactly the one in philipines.. i say... i have more, true and caring Filipino friends.. I am really worried that i have not seen them here in mylot for one month, as they would be really in trouble.. because of the typhoon Havoc.. and furious floods.. I really pray for the safety of all my Filipino friends.
