As far as I am concerned life can begin at any age.Mylife began at my 38th Birthday. No looking back till now.Close to 40 Isn't it.One of my relative started a bottle business a couple of years back.He is rolling in money and doing extremely good.He is 74.Yes 74.Life is really strange.

I am nearly 50 and I must say that as I get older, life gets one heck of a lot easier. Pre 40 you are still trying to make a career for yourself, get money, fame, fortune, have children, hang on to relationships, have a bigger and better car, go to exotic destinations for holidays, be a champion consumer. Some people never stop trying to aspire to these things. For me however, by the time I was 45 I had achieved pretty much all that I wanted and now, a month short of my 50th I don't work, and do what I want to do. I Don't much care what others thinks of me. Have become quite opinionated and (according to my wife) bossy. I love my family and friends more than ever and paradoxically, have become tolerant about what they think, even if I disagree with them. I have also discovered myLot, a site that 6 months ago I would have been extremely disparaging about. In only 5 weeks here I have discovered what a diverse lot we are and have been privileged to experience their innermost thoughts and fears. I don't think that "life begins at 40", but age and experience certainly helps put what's important into context.
