I have a smoke detector at home place in different areas. But definitely there is one in the kitchen and one in my room. I usually change it every two months since I previously change batteries every month following the manufacturers guide. Bit I noticed the batteries are still dong good after 2 months. So I decided to change it every 2 months.

Funny you bring this up. I have five (that I know of) detectors in my house. One in each bedroom and one outside the master and one outside the two outer bedrooms. There may be more in the kitchen etc....
The other night this loud ticking noise woke me and voila... it was the battery in one of my smoke detectors that was dying. With all the electronics I have in my house it took me a while to figure out what the heck it was but I finally got it changed it and everything is a-ok.
No Co2 detectors or Carbon Monoxide dectectors.
Thanks
Zelo

We have two smoke detectors, one upstairs and one down. We have one CO2 detector. I'm happy to say that my husband is very good about testing the smoke alarms and changing the batteries at the first of every year. Not sure how you test a CO2 detector, and it's plugged in, so no batteries.
