Hello guys... Uhmmm... Recently, I have discovered the site www.vixy.net . The main 'purpose' of this website is to convert youtube videos into other file formats [from flash to avi, 3gp and mp3 audio] so that these videos could be used for other media. I'm not really sure if anybody is allowed to convert stuff uploaded on youtube for other purposes other than viewing it exactly on their website. Can you tell me your comment on this?? Is the operation of vixy illegal?? Thanks in advance...

yes, it's legal and surprisingly that conversion technology is fast. I just hope they have the software itself to be used rather than using it online. However, I can only manage to use it with youTube, and not other sites. Are you able to use it with other sites too?

Thanks cooldude-no1... Before anything else, I'd first say that I have just recently confirmed it's legality.. Hehe.. This only shows that I really dont have anything to upload on youtube. When I looked at their upload pages, the syndication window showed options to whether or not a user would allow mobile usage of the video. A learning experience I must say... As to your question, unfortunately, I haven't.. I mean, I havent used it [vixy] with other FLV sites.. I guess you wouldnt really need to find other sites to use vixy - almost everything's on youtube anyway... Right?? B-)
