Everyone has been telling how great the swifter dusters are. So I finally broke down and bought one. Wow they really a great. I just did my computer desk and did not have to remove everything from it. Thats what I hate the most. And it has an extention so you can get the corners of your walls. They now come in scented lavender and vanilla. So do use swifter dusters?

I've never had one before but I just might try it after all. I thought it was another gimmick to make another rich but if you say it's good then heck I'm more than willing to give it a shot! I hate to dust especially with a rag. Thanks Terry!

i just got one about a month ago and i don't think i could ever live with out it again. with 3 kids i am always looking to make cleaning easier and faster. i like it the best for my ceiling fans. we have one in everyroom but the bathroom and they collect dust so fast but what a pain to get a chair and dust them. now all i have to do is get that out and a couple swipes and i am done. i have about all the swifer stuff and i really don't think i could live without any of it.

I have tried this product. The kids seem to have fun using it which encourages them to help with the dusting chores. The product does work quite well.

Are those the same thing as we have here - do they attach to a sort of flat brush to do the floor with? We call them swiffers and I swear by them! The swiffers themselves are about £12 and my daughter broke mine last month but weemam took me to the poundshop and I got a cheaper version - for a pound! lol xxx

It is easy to use and this is the key.

Yes, I use them, and they're great. I like that I can do the stereo equipement and get in between those tight spots. Another cleaning thing that I can't do without is the Mr Clean magic. eraser. That thing's like magic. If you can't get something out, grab that, and poof, out.

Wow. I didn't know the dusters came in different scents.I have been using dusters for years because they trap the dust and don't let it back into the air.So I can dust without putting on a mask. Thanks for your post. I have got to look for the scented dusters.

I love them too :):) And I use them often, it helps a lot in things that are a bit harder to reach or dust. Actually it helps a lot in everything LOL
I"m not sure about the scents though. SOmetimes they are just too strong or too artificial and I don't like them, although I love the scent of lavender.
Regardless, scent or no scent swifter dusters rule LOL

I have used them in the past, but I don't use them much anymore. It is just another thing that when they first came out, it was great, but after awhile it was just easier to do my dusting manually. I do still use one of hardwood flours because it is easier to use than vacuuming since it picked up all the dirt and dust easier. I only use the dry ones, not the wet ones, because the wet ones just leaves streaks and also because you shouldn't use anything with detergent in it, only your hardwood floors because it takes off the finish, in time. On hardwood floors, you should only use plain cool water so that the finish lasts forever.

Oh gabs its a pole and you slide a dusting piece to it and when your done just throw the duster out. And the dust doesnt go all over the place it sticks to the duster. It looks like a feather duster. But you have to always buy the duster which comes like 5 or 6 in a box. Love you!xxx

Nope, I have never used a Swifter duster. Sounds like I need to get one. Removing everything from this desk is a real chore. I have so many things all over it and it takes forever to put things back where I can find them. I'll have to check Walmart next time I am there and buy one.

We really like Swiffer too! We've never bought the duster version (didn't know the feedback and ratings yet), but we get the mopping things, which we were so impressed with! I hate mopping where it's so much trouble (regular mopping), plunging it in the water, then squeezing, then mopping, and then blah. But this is so simple.
And on the mop, I try to gently peel off the layer, ane then use it for the next few sweeps. Then peel off again next, which makes it cling the dust and dirt so much better.
You noted that you are thinking of using the duster on the blinds. That is a great idea! I posted a while back asking if anybody has a cat that likes to lick the blinds, which I always get so worried about and shue Sylvie away from. A duster may at least help somewhat.
Glad you are having a good experience. Maybe I'll give it a go soon too. :o)
