This morning I saw, for the first time in my life, a baby rat. I was scared but then I wanted to look closely how it really look a very tiny mouse. It's a new born and barely breathing. It looks like a dragon or having some brain damage probably.. because it has a big head. Whatever. Anyway, question is -- are these craeture came out from egg or it's a mammal or what..? how many babies can a momma rat have?

The rats are mammals. I don't know exactly but I saw 8 baby rats of single momma rat.

Yeah, they are mammals so they can't lay eggs n'or infants hatch from one. Naturally that is. Now, if you see a weird thing like a hatching egg and see rat come out.. Since smaller mammals tend to give birth more number of infants, I guess around eight would be max..

A rat is a mammal and they give birth just like humans.. But most of the time, animals can give birth to much more as compared to humans, so i'm not really sure wat's the max for rats.. hehe

I gotta guess 4 babies?... I had seen a rat giving birth and it has 4 babies inside. Actually they are cute but we tend to look at them dirty because of their heir.
