The Oddysey

I had to read it in high school and take quizzes and tests over it. I still thought it was pretty cool - an epic adventure written over 2000 years ago.
Recently, I have listened to an unabridged 11 CD set of the tale. It's even more awesome than I'd remembered.
Have you ever gone back to something you'd read before and experienced it again from a different perspective?

The Odyssey is much better than the Illiad in my opinion, though I have to say neither are exactly an easy rad.
The first time I read Red Strom Rising by Tom Clancy I thought it was too complex a year later I went back to it and found that it was one of the best novels he has written
