So a few weeks ago i went to turn on my 360. Only too see them 3 flashing red rings. Of course I panicked. It's not like this video game system is cheap, and I brought so much for it at christmas time for my son. So I called xbox. They tell me that they are putting me in for a repair ticket, gone to send me out the box and the shipping stickers and for me to send them my xbox. So it took about 5 days for me to get all the shipping stuff. I send the xbox and in a few weeks they actually sent me a new xbox for free because my xbox was beyond repair, which they acknowledged was their fault, they also gave me an xbox live gold 1 month membership for free. I was totally shocked. Microsoft ended up being a very reputable company.. They made good on their merchandise. Mind you my system was our of warrenty, I will defiently be buying microsoft products in the future

We had teh exact same thing happen. Totally wonderful customer service, on top of that, giving the new X-Box, and acknowledging that the product failure was their fault not ours. Love it!

I know i was amazed about how great there customer service is and also about how smoothly the whole process was. I remember when playstation 2 first came out and our broke before the warrenty even expired and they were as ignorant as can be, they were not even willing to try and fix it.

I have a couple of friends who love the Xbox's unfortunately one of them is on their fourth and the other on his third. They have always received good customer service from Microsoft but just makes you wonder why their product isn't better in the first place
