And who didn't know this? I mean, common sense tells you that it isn't all that easy! A light bulb is not the only thing that uses electricity! Good grief, it took them this long to figure it out? Wonder if the government will change it back and keep it same time all year round.

And not to mention things that making the clock change effects and costs companies and people to do, like changing the time on PC's, ATM machines and the like.

I think there was more to it than electricity originally. It was supposed to be better for factory workers traveling to and from in daylight and also safer for kids waiting on schoolbuses in the dark mornings. I know that there are some states that don't do daylight savings time...like Arizona. Personally, I would rather they left it alone, but don't count on it. If there is a way for the government to make anything more complicated they will do it. Look at the tax laws. lol

I know what you are saying. I heard it only started back WWI (or was it WWII)days to prolong the day light for farmers to have more daylight to harvest more crops so as to get more food to the troops.
And yeah, AZ doesn't change and I think 3 others Hawaii I think is one of them, but they dont' change and things are going fine for them! No, they probably won't change it - although, they might make a huge deal over it and have Congress and all deal with it...like they did that steroid thing with the sports star - lord knows we have no better use for the contries supremem courts than for things like this!
