Are you a myLot marathon runner

It is cold and stormy here and I have half a mind to spend the rest of the day in front of the computer screen myLotting. I shall need an accessible sweet (candy) supply, coffee and tea on tap and warm socks because my feet are permanently cold these days. Do you run myLot marathons, or are you a sprinter. Come to the site quickly, do what you need to do and speed off to do the next job.

Yes it was very stormy weather here too yesterday but had to work and by the time I got home and signed on I was that tired I just had time to respond to the responses from my discussions and will probably do a marathon today to catch up with all the interesting discussions like this one that I missed. Most days I sprint throughout the day on and off then in the evening do a more steady pace race. Must be stricter on myself because like you I have ended upon here til early hours of the morning too, but I find just as I'm about to switch off and go up to bed I'll get a new repsonse or a really interesting discussion comes up and then suddenly another hour has passed. Ellie :D

I so recognise me in what you have just said. I'll just be off to bed and suddenly my e mail will show a response and back I go. Of curse, I cannot just leave it there. NO, I then have to start getting involved in everybody else's post too. However, last night I was in bed by 10. Good boy!

Hanging my head, I admit it, I am a Mylot addict. I can spend inordinate amounts of time here, it's quite ridiculous. Too many people to talk to, I'm afraid. Too many things to answer, too many questions to pose. And entirely too much fun, especially from some particular sectors I'm not allowed to mention, for fear of some intensely painful punishment, a good lashing I suspect, though, would be something I could look forward, I mean, something I could look to receive. So I'll just talk about the time I spend and the hours that fly by when I'm here. They're all lovely, and I don't intend on stopping any time soon.

Well, you must have been concentrating on my responses, darlin. Something you want to know? Just ask......... I'm an open book.

It varies for me. Some days I can be on here all day or night and other days I don't even log on or if I do its probably for a few minutes then I am off to do something else.
Today it is very cold and I am snuggled up on the couch with my coffee and the tv on. My husband is online too so I am chatting to him and doing mylot. Two more days and he will be home YAY! Don't think I'll be on for a day or two LOL

Oh no, I wish I could tear myself away from this darn site once I've logged into it. I'm here for the duration of the day. I'm definitely in it for the marathon and always trying to outdo my last time. Got a stopwatch? Oh and before I go back to more of the same, just wanted to tell you to watch out for biscuits that tend to want to take a bath in a teacup.

Oh I hope you don't shatter your teeth, after all watching someone gum their biscuits is so not attractive.

LOL. You will see that I have posted about my cookie baking exploits. One person has even offered to come over and show me how to do it. I am determined not to eat a cookie now until it is one that I have baked myself. I intend to bake the Marine of all cookies, one that is so hard, it won't break in my tea. I shall probably lose my teeth instead.

I have spent 12 hours in front of this laptop when I was determined to reach my goal of 500. I even carried it with me to the bathroom. I had my coffee and tea on tap and my children were kind enough to supply me with food as a peace offering if they came in to interrupt me.
Ever since reaching that milestone I would consider myself a sprinter. I am myLotting in between doing laundry, prepping dinner, caring for my avatar, baking cookies or brownies, and letting the dog in and out.

Me? A role model? You are so very kind. lol
It takes time and practice and unfortunately you will have to give up that pretty blue star you have for something less colorful like pink or the white I am striving for.
But I kind of like you just the way you are. This site isn't big enough for 2 of me. Especially a male version. LOL

Well, it depends on the time I have to be in here, but I know if I chose to spend most of today from now until the time I go to sleep tonight, I could answer a lot of discussions and hopefully would be proud of my Earnings on here of what I have accomplished tomorrow. I know I go thru streaks of when I am in here. Today is my day off, and I am in here answering some posts, and wishing for the best. As for a Goal, I have no idea. But between doing laundry and checking Emails, I am sure I will be spending a lot of my day and time here in myLot. This site always continues to be a Great place to be.

I guess I would have to say that I am the type who sprints because I run back and forth. I would love to be able to sit and really put some good time into Mylot, but I get restless very easily. I have been on here this time for a good little while and am resisting the temptation to run off and do something else.

It all depends. If it is the middle of the night and everyone is asleep I am more the marathon type. I don't have distractions aside from maybe my sister instant messaging me but I can do both of those things at once.
If it is the middle of the day and the baby is awake going full-force into everything then I am a sprinter. This is when I tend to open up the discussion page to see what is available. I save all the discussions that look interesting into my favorite places so I can go back later.
If she is napping and I need to be doing other things I will answer a couple of discussions, check the first couple of pages of new discussions and I am off to do something else. If I am being lazy while she naps, I might have more of a marathon session. I will then sit here and go through all the discussions I have saved. If I finish those with extra time to spare I will go look for others to answer and/or save.

I'd have to say I'm a mylot marathoner when I'm home. I might not always be making responses to discussions, because I tend to only answer posts I feel I have something to add to. Some days I don't have much to say (those are rare), and other days I can't seem to type fast enough.

When I first started mylotting I was a marathon runner -- spending most of my time here both day and inthrough the wee hours of the morning.
Now I'm a sprinter. I guess I just run out of talk :D

That's an impressive goal. I find that it take me hours just to work through the responses to the odd discussion that I post. 36 replies this morning. At about 3 minutes each, I shall spend one and three quarter hours just ring and responding. Hope that you make payout.

I run back to MyLot in between visiting other websites and doing other things online and offline. Every time I check my email I find the inbox has a lot of MyLot notifications of new discussions and comments so I keep calling back here instead of moving on to something else.

I am, but right now, I have to set a time limit because I am neglecting other tasks that are equally important.
