Fire place or central heating or electric heaters?

What do you like best and have in your home? I have a wood burning stove in my house and I love it. It warms my house so nice and the chill is gone withing 30 minutes from when the fire is put in. bringing in wood and chopping wood isn't the funest thing to do, but it makes for a great workout. Also using a wood stove cut my electric and gas bill drastically. last winter my bill each month was between $350 and $400 to heat my house, know with my wood stove and a small electric heater in my sons room, my bill is only a little over $100 a month. i love it. What do you like, what do you use?

Thanks for sharing.
I live in orissa india , in the south east region, this place is warm, the temp in winter does not go below 15 degrees C , but in summer it goes to 52C
So what we need is not heaters but coolers and air conditioners lol.

I would love to have a wood burning stove!
I'm renting a very tiny OLD house right now and it's very drafty. We have an oil furnace, but it stinks (and of course very expensive).
During the day we use a space heater to save on the oil, but it doesn't do the whole house very well. I close off the rooms not being used, and I don't use it at night or when we're not here.
