What Quantum Physics Means to You

I thought this was kool, when I came across it.. and now it's just my thoughts, I don't have alink or anything.. and it's not the answer to everything and isn't 100% foolproof, but I find very interesting nevertheless.. Discoveries in Quantum Physics - Deep down.. before the atom... Before something is even a wave or a particle, scientists have found that someone observing, changes what happens.. When someone is watching, more become waves or more become particles than is true when no one is watching! And so this world is a sort of possibilities always collapsing ahead of us.. - What the discovery shows us, is the road ahead of us is influenced by our being (existing), and by our mind.. what we think.. what we expect.. what we see as possibilities.. (good old fashioned, and simple positive thinking!)

I didn't get you, can you explain this a bit better. May be provide link to what you wanted to explain here. who watches what? Did you mean that we make things happen in this world or that what philosophers have always said that think and it will come true.

..yes, to me, that seems basicly it. The scientists have found that in the deepest levels of matter, before it is matter, or before it is even either a particle or a wave, which I guess is what everything begins as, a particle or wave, that once a scientist or someone, is watching at that deepest level, it changes what happens. Their watching, changes what happens. I first learned about it on a science DVD, and didn't quite get it, but contemplated it, then also just happened to read two fictional books in a row where it (quantum physics) was a main part of the plot. This may be simplified, but I think basicly it, and I think you did get it.. I have looked for links but they all seem pretty technical and much more complicated, so I gave up on them. One of the books I read was called "Trader" by Charles de Lint and the DVD is called "The Anthropic Principle". :)

Thanks, I shall look for the book next time I go to Delhi as here no good book shops are there. I shall read about the stuff more. Thanks for letting me know this.

I too thought it was cool when I read about it along the spiritual line. It just reinforce my belief that there could indeed be miracles if one choose to believe in the spiritual world. The only thing is that it is expensive to be able to "acquire" the skill of applying the power.

...I had an interesting experience, I was thinking and pondering about it, and my granddaughter asked me for 25 cents for her milk at school and I went to reach into this little coin jar, and it seemed like two dimes and a nickle almost jumped into my hand.. I used to suffer from deep dark depressions, til I learned (years ago) to replace every negative thought with a positive.. so I've had some experience with this.. Jesus, when he was here often said "according to your faith so be it".. and the bible also says "when you pray, believe you have your requests and you shall" - if they're good requests of course.. I think it does make a difference what we expect.. I think what this, and any part of spiritual life takes is time.. time for reflection and contemplation mostly.. Time to read and study, and to reflect and contemplate it all.. :)

I will keep that in mind. I've been reading of some books (in Indonesia version) about this Quantum Physics but the more i involve with my world. bussiness, obstacles, sad feeling. Make me forgot how to changes it. Your post remind me of this simple positif thingking will do a big efford. Thank you so much to remind me. xoxo ~dian
