how do you cope with this?

i used to have a boss some yaears back.i was working in a construction firm then as a site supervisor at that time.This boss of mine will never communicate with anyone,and has an habit of firing people faster than he hires.He comes to the site between 7:00am and 7:30am once he comes,he does not ask after anyone and if he does not see you he concludes you are not on site and the worst part is you are not allowed to defend yourself.Now,i have worked like this for over a year before i decided to give him a piece of my mind.He did not change though so i resigned before i go insane.Now my friend"s son is having same problem in his new job,what would you advise he do in this situation?

i dunno, i am not sure, but i guess if the job is so stressful because of the boss, i guess the best way is to find another job. it is not worth it if you get so stressed working with a difficult boss. i am sure there are better bosses out there.
