Looking for a possible career change or addition

I do phone work for a marketing research company and I have had lots of people tell me or mistake me for a computer because my voice is so professional. Well last week, I had a person suggest I make a career change and get into voice overs for commericals or possibly a DJ. Well I don't want to do the DJ thing since I am content with my current job. But doing commerical work does sound appealing. I just don't know where to turn. I goggled it and found a lot of sites but naturally everyone wants money. Do you think going to a personnel office might pan something out? Or do I need to find a legitimate talent agency? Anyone suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated.
