Our Granddaughter Ryan 4 months old was shaken by her mother. Our son called 911 on the 5th of Feb 2008 Because she had stoped breathing. The ER did a CT and found trama to her head. The flew her to the Levine's childrens hospital in Charlotte NC. MY husband and I were up there everyday that she was in there. On tuesdat the 12th of Feb 2008 she was discharged from the hos. DSS took her from the hos. and placed her in foster care. We have not seen her since Monday the 11th. DSS says that thier not placing her with any one untill our son go'es to court on the 17th of March 2008. We PRAY that shes alright and that we get to see her soon.Ryan was doing well when we last saw her, she was responding to sound and lights. Which was a good sign. We love her so much and we miss her too.

Hi dleddick! I am so sorry to hear that. I am glad that somehow she is alright now. I do hope that everything will be alright. What happened to the mother. Will she be charged for child abuse? I really hope everything will be fine especially Ryan. Just my thoughts dear friend! Take care and have a nice day!

As a mother my heart pours out to all of you, especially Ryan, my God send his blessings upon all of you and help you get through this.

I am so sorry to hear this. Babies are precious. I cannot believe your sons girlfriend didn't just put her in her crib and walk away, make a phone call something. I wish your son good luck in court. Hoping you see her soon!
