Interior Decorating

I want to paint my house, but I don't know what colors. Right now the only room I painted is the spare bedroom, its half red and half white. we have a yellow kitchen and dining room, which makes the rooms more bright but I don't really like it. The rest of our house is a tan color, which to me is ugly..
Any ideas are welcome *smaller rooms*

Hi Beccarose, if you can get your hubby to sit down with you and discuss colors that you both like, I think that would be a good start. I just did a search for free interactive room design and found this site http://www.seemydesign.com/ and here's another site http://www.designaroom.net/ I didn't have time to use them, so hopefully they will help you.
