am I the only one having problems replying today?

I have tried to reply to several post today and it will say please only use letters numbers and punctuation. I am only using those things. Then I will finally get that one to work and try to respond to another post and when I click submit my words go away but it is not being posted. I tried on one post three or four times and each time it just up and disappeared with no message showing what went wrong. It looked like I had never typed anything in the box at all. I went to the post to see if maybe it was posting any way. Nope nothing there. It is very frustrating to rewrite something several times and still not be getting any where. Am I alone in this? Any suggestions? Thank you all.
